This Policy explains how COUNCIA handles information when you use the website, ask a question, receive AI answers, make a payment, or choose analytics.

1. Information we collect

We collect account details, login and security records, questions and background you submit, questionnaire answers, selected visibility and AI systems, generated answers, feedback, transaction records, support messages, and ordinary device and server logs.

2. How we use information

We use information to operate and secure accounts; clarify and answer questions; route work to selected AI providers; display private or anonymously public content; process balances, payments, refunds, and support; prevent abuse; and improve reliability and usability.

3. AI and service providers

The text needed to provide your requested answer may be sent to selected AI, search, hosting, database, email, security, analytics, and payment providers. They process it under their own applicable agreements and configurations. Avoid submitting sensitive or confidential information unless necessary and authorized.

4. Public choices

Questions are private by default. If you choose anonymous publication, your question, context, answers, sources, time, and related metadata may be displayed worldwide, copied by others, and indexed by search engines, but your account identity is not displayed.

5. Cookies and optional analytics

Essential first-party cookies keep you signed in. Google Analytics and PostHog load only if you allow analytics. We disable advertising personalization, session replay, and automatic page-content capture, and do not intentionally send question text, email addresses, one-time codes, or payment credentials to analytics providers. You can change this choice below.

6. Retention and security

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the Service, security, backup, disputes, payments, tax, and legal duties. Public anonymous content may remain to preserve conversations and links. We use access controls and protected authentication records, but no system is perfectly secure.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. Some security, transaction, legal, or already-public records may need to be retained. Use the Contact page to submit a request.

8. International processing and children

COUNCIA and its providers may process information outside your country with legally required safeguards. The Service is not intended for children and is available only to users who meet the Terms.
